Mechanical Integrity: Exercise Limits

Over-exercising a senior pet in a new environment can cause soft-tissue failure. Forensic planning involves specifying walking durations, surfaces (grass vs. concrete), and temperature limits to protect joint longevity. A senior dog's mechanical integrity is fragile.

If your pet has a history of orthopedic surgery, the new guardian must be aware of the 'Impact Threshold.' This means no jumping into cars or onto high beds without a ramp. By documenting these physical limits, you prevent the 'weekend warrior' syndrome where a well-meaning guardian takes the pet on a hike that results in a week of pain.
